Sustainable Development Committee

 

 

 

Newly established Sustainable Development Committee 

On November 7, 2025, the Board of Directors approved the establishment of a new "Sustainability Development Committee". In accordance with the "Organizational Regulations of the Sustainability Development Committee of Duntai Electronics Co., Ltd". The committee will convene at least once a year to report to the Board of Directors on the results of the current year and the implementation plan for the following year.

 

The Sustainable Development Committee consists of three members, one of whom is a director and two are independent directors. The committee's main powers include the following

 

  • Participate in the establishment and review of the Company's sustainability policies, strategies, and management guidelines.

  • Supervise the Company's sustainability reports, greenhouse gas inventory reports, and other sustainability-related matters and implementation plans.

  • Tracking, reviewing, and revising the implementation and effectiveness of corporate sustainability measures.

  • Other matters resolved by the Board of Directors to be handled by this Committee.

The term of this committee will run from November 7, 2025 to May 29, 2026. The newly established Sustainable Development Committee for 2025 is expected to hold its first meeting in May 2026.

 

Sustainable Development Group
On April 24, 2018, the Board of Directors also approved the establishment of a Corporate Governance Team to create a governance structure that promotes sustainable development. A dedicated (part-time) unit was set up to oversee the planning and implementation of corporate governance, sustainability matters, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. To further implement ESG principles, the team has been renamed the "Sustainability Team." The Sustainability Team collaborates with relevant company departments to develop plans and implementation methods. Each year, the Head of Corporate Governance, Ms. Joy Lee, submits an annual report on the plan and its implementation to the Board of Directors, which authorizes and oversees related matters.

 

Based on the principle of materiality, the company conducts risk assessments on environmental, social, and corporate governance issues related to its operations and establishes relevant risk management policies.

 

The Sustainability Team shall report to the Board of Directors at least once a year on the progress of sustainability initiatives. This report shall include a briefing on the company's operational plans and implementation status for sustainability matters, as well as presentations on important issues such as risk management and measures, integrity in business operations, information security, stakeholder communication, intellectual property and patent management, and personal data protection.
The reporting date to the Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2024 is February 21, 2025.
The reporting date to the Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2025 is February 26, 2026.

 

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

In response to and support of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Duntai Electronics has established a Sustainability Development Team to jointly review and evaluate the company's current sustainability policies and plans. This team connects to eight of the SDGs, guiding the company's future sustainable operations in accordance with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. The team hopes to leverage collective wisdom to help solve global social and environmental problems. The eight Sustainable Development Goals for 2025 are explained below:
