Nurturing Academic Talent - Contributing to the Expansion of Taiwan's Semiconductor Talent Pool.
In 2022, a total of 8.73 million NTD was invested in industry-academia collaborations.
The seminar was attended by approximately 110 students, including master's and doctoral students from four major categories: Semiconductor Component Division, Design Division, Materials Division, and Process Division. Through this seminar, the Vice President of Technology and the Assistant Manager of Human Resources provided on-site explanations, allowing students to gain a better understanding of FocalTech's leading capabilities in chip design, professional expertise, and comprehensive employee benefits. At the same time, the seminar helped students recognize the seamless connection between their current studies and their future careers, making the right choice for a harmonious transition. |

Professional Lecture - Introduction to Touch Detection Principles and Integration Trends in Touch Displays
Approximately 90 students participated, including master's and doctoral students from four major categories: Semiconductor Component Division, Design Division, Materials Division, and Process Division. A specially arranged Vice General Manager conducted a two-hour professional lecture, covering key topics such as self-capacitive touch and mutual-capacitive touch, an overview of display panel structures, and the integration of touch and display functions. The lecture provided insightful explanations that combined years of professional expertise with clear and accessible analysis, enabling students to gain a wealth of knowledge and a deeper understanding of touch display technology.
In addition to collaborating with the Semiconductor College for joint cultivation, partnerships were established with four universities in Taiwan to launch eight technology research and development projects. A total of 65 participating and benefiting students enriched the future talent pool in the semiconductor industry. |
